Motivated by the love and mercy of Jesus Christ, Global Women seeks to create global friendships among women for shared learning and service. Empowered through our commitment to Christ-like living we strive to be a voice for the profoundly unreached voiceless women of the world. We desire to bring needed change to the conditions of women worldwide. Together we help women find and express their voice. Global Women is responding to the urgent needs of women worldwide. We invite you to learn more about us and join us in fulfilling our mission.
WHO WE ARE Rooted in the rich missions' history of women leaders such as Annie Armstrong, Lottie Moon and Fannie E.S. Heck, Global Women is an organization meeting the needs of profoundly unreached women worldwide and tackling life issues they face. Through Global Women partnerships and projects, human needs are met, worldwide friendships are created and doors are opened to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
"WHERE DO I FIT IN?" These "I" words help answer questions about what Global Women does. We also want them to raise questions about what you can do as a part of Global Women: We Investigate opportunities and resources to pray for and respond to needs of women worldwide. We investigate through: Global Voices conferences, Voices newsletter, Vision trips, Global Groups We Influence as we affirm and collaborate with women called to missions and ministry in their local communities and around the world. We influence, and are influenced, through: Support of indigenous workers, Partnerships with like-minded groups, Christian women's leadership conferences, Student Internships. We Involve ourselves personally and sacrificially in praying, giving, ministering and serving as we respond to special global issues such as: Sexual trafficking, Spouse abuse and family violence, Relocated Internationals, Displaced women/refugees, Healthcare needs, Poverty and Economic development.
