Global Groups

Global Groups Introduction

Global Women groups exist to provide women of all ages with an opportunity to discover ways to meet needs of the profoundly unreached women of the world, to share missional experiences, and to pray together. As a result, group members develop friendships and grow together in their own understanding of the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.

How to Start a Group

Groups may be formed on campuses, in churches, in local neighborhoods or communities, in a workplace, or any where there are missional women who desire to be a part Global Women. Groups determine when, where and how often they will meet. Leadership of the group may be shared or facilitated by one woman.

Preparing to Meet

  • Pray
  • Set your meeting date
  • Arrange for your meeting location
  • Decide who will facilitate the meeting
  • Check for conflicts with a church, campus, or community calendar (if needed)

  • Send out email announcements of the meeting
  • Arrange for child care (if needed)
  • Arrange for any food to be served (optional)
