We invite you to join us as we investigate the global needs of women, discover ways to share our influence, and respond as God calls to involvement.
Motivated by the love and mercy of Jesus Christ, Global Women is a nonprofit organization connecting and empowering women to transform our worlds through global friendships as we:
investigate the needs of women,
involve ourselves and our communities in meeting these needs, and
influence leaders to cultivate cultures that value women.
How Can I Connect?
Together, we can Investigate opportunities and resources to pray for and respond to needs of women worldwide. We investigate through: Global Women websites, webinars, events, the annual Global Voices Summit, books, movies, televised documentaries, and print media.
Together, we can Influence and are influenced, through: prayer, advocacy,collaborations, and financial support of GW.
Together, we can Involve ourselves personally and sacrificially through: Global Women Groups, observances of International Women's Day (March 8th), and projects.
Please join Global Women in collecting these needed items and ship them to our Birthing Hope contact in Alabama. With each box of items you ship, please include a check to Covenant Community Church to help defray the shipping costs to Haiti. A suggested minimum amount is $30 per box. Copies of our 2010 Prayer Guide are available for you to share with those you know would want to join us in investigating and praying for the global issues affecting women. This year's Prayer Guide includes suggested ways to pray for women in connection with the eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Copies are free. We ask only that you pay for shipping for large quantities. 500 will mail for only $10.70! Contact us and let us know how many copies you need. Of course you can download the Prayer Guide from this Web site.
